Synergy Architects are recruiting.
We are currently looking for outstanding, committed candidates to add to our team, and invite applications from technologists/technicians and architects with at least three years’ experience, as well as outstanding Part III architectural assistants.

The practice runs Vectorworks CAD software and experience of this is preferable, but full training will be given to the right candidate. Skills in SketchUp and other presentation / 3D software would also be beneficial.

Requirements:
Architect
ARB-registered Architect;
3+ years’ post-qualification experience;
Experience working across all RIBA work stages;
Able to lead, coordinate and supervise both internal and external teams;
Able to deliver projects within programme and budget constraints;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
An all-rounder with strong creative design skills, technical knowledge and detailing ability;
Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and construction technology;
Experience of CAD – ideally Vectorworks but not essential;
Prior experience of using BIM beneficial but not essential.
3D visualisation skills beneficial but not essential;
Senior Architectural Technician
CIAT-registered technologist/technician;
5+ years’ post-qualification experience;
Experience working across all RIBA work stages;
Able to lead and coordinate output from both internal and external teams;
Able to deliver information packages and projects to programme and budget;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
A reliable job-runner with exceptional technical knowledge and construction detailing ability;
Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and construction technology;
Experience of CAD – ideally Vectorworks but not essential;
Prior experience of using BIM beneficial but not essential.
Part II or III Architectural Assistant
RIBA Part II qualification;
2+ years’ prior experience working in a UK architectural practice;
Committed attitude and enthusiasm to learn;
Willingness to develop with the practice long-term;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
A sound basic knowledge of UK building regulations and construction technology;
Experience of using CAD – ideally Vectorworks but not essential;
Strong presentation and 3D visualisation skills (knowledge of SketchUp beneficial).
