Grand Hotel ready to sparkle again
Posted on 18 Dec 2020
The Grand Hotel in Birmingham city centre is ready to reopen its doors again, almost twenty years after it welcomed its last guests.
Considered the city's finest hotel in its heyday, this iconic venue is ready to retake her place as a vibrant and stylish focal point. This famous building, unused and empty for so many years, has been extensively remodelled and renovated to create a luxury 185-bedroom hotel suitable for Birmingham in the 21st century.
An inspiring mix of old and new, the hotel combines original Victorian architecture with striking modern additions. Original, listed features have been painstakingly restored and the interiors have been reimagined, bringing comfort and glamour in equal measure. From the ornate Louis XIV-style Grand Ballroom to the stunning duplex penthouse apartment, The Grand is filled with extraordinary spaces.
